Julie uses non-aversive dog-friendly training techniques to help you and your dog live happily in a city environment. Whether you’ve recently acquired an adult dog or puppy or need to fix a “behavior problem” with your current dog, One Smart Puppy can help. One Smart Puppy, Inc. provides basic obedience and behavior modification services by way of private in-home consultations. One Smart Puppy trainer, Julie Sonenberg, focuses on teaching you how to train your dog.

Private In-Home Consultations:
You and your dog are most comfortable at home. In order to establish and cater to your individual training needs, Julie will come to your home in order to create an individualized training program to perfectly match the goals you have for your dog. Together, you will decide what is most important to you for customized training. Training will take place in your home with any and all family members who would like to participate.

If you are considering bringing a new dog or puppy into your home, consider meeting with a trainer to discuss how to choose the best fit for you. One Smart Puppy can help you find a dog and a breeder that's right for you and your family.

Your busy schedule can be accommodated by setting up a meeting any time: weekdays, evenings or weekends. Whatever is most convenient for you. Your voice mail or email will be responded to within 24 hours.

Fees:
Fees vary based on your training needs but typically run $135 per hour for Private Consultations. Training time over an hour will be billed as such. Inquire about package specials.

•Training treats used during sessions

•Detailed follow-up email summarizing training          session and exercises to practice

                                              •Full access via phone and email for questions

                                              •Reasonable travel time within and from Manhattan
